Mahi-Mahi Blackened in Flour Tortillas

We ate at

I have come to the conclusion that Islamorada has the best collection of Iconic Restaurants and Waterfront Bars. You get so many on just a four mile long island, from Mile Marker 84 to 80. That is the spot to stop on the way down for lunch. My hats off to the Green Turtle Bar. The late night Thursday happy hours are great with the tunes. I really like all the local nostalgia on the walls. My picks here are the Fish Tacos (Mahi-mahi blackened, flour tortillas, served with pico de gallo, guacamole, cilantro slaw, sour cream, black beans, and hot salsa) or go with the Steak and Taters (Ribeye steak with bordelaise, parmesan tater tots and vegetables of the day). Has a full menu with lots of home cooked recipes.
