Our first stay at the Banyan was so good we certainly will be back. Whitehead Street is just one off the famous Duval, making local travel a breeze. You stay on the backside of the action, so once in your room there is not a sound in the world. Pop back out of your room after an evening cocktail, and in 30 seconds you are surrounded by music, laughter, restaurants, and shopping. Our family cannot wait to stay here again.
It shines really bright over here on Whitehead Street. Value is the newest rage in luxury, and the Banyan delivers on both counts. We joined them for an outstanding weekend, with no automobile needed. This town is better than ever, redefined to thrill all ages and children too.
We found Key West to be the closest thing to the Caribbean, and the Banyan is perfect for your home base. The weather was great with the Island Breeze (we like summer vacations typically). Close to the hotel is lots of history, great museums & art galleries, live music, and reasonably-priced restaurants.
This is an excellent place to stay, the lush nature is so beautiful, giving the resort its special appeal. This is where we stay each year during the annual Hemingway Days.
