There may not be a more relaxing spot in town. So, plop your beach chair right along the Shoreline for the best views of it all! This is Taylor Park, where scenic nature makes you feel like an island local. If you need a chair to rent (better yet a snorkel & mask!) there is the Cayo Hueso Cafe & Rental Center to pick up what you need. This is a must see Beach Park.
If you are seeking a nice spot to relax with a breeze and a view, then head right on down to Taylor Beach Park. Find it inside the Truman Annex (follow the signs at the guard gate). A full features park for picnics, Snorkeling, fishing, walking, and more.
Florida shines for beach play and this is the true South Beach. Forget Miami, it is better here for water clarity and pure nature.
This is the best beach for sure. We did the Key West Water Tour yesterday and just want to rave about it. You get a fancy waverunner rental and cruise around the entire island, and see all of the Key West Public Beaches during the voyage. It is not cheap, but as fun as you will get. The ride starts at Hurricane Hole Marina and you get to explore it all. Plan on seeing lots of critters like: sea turtles, dolphin, shark, tarpon, and stingrays.
