Dockside Conch Fritter Stand

One of the traditions that we do on each trip to the islands. During the evening sunset celebrations, stop in and get some hot-spicy conch fritters on the docks. It is the perfect spot to eat like the old days. Conch meat was plentiful and easy to catch years ago, therefore becoming a local daily diet staple.

They are yummy. When you look closely inside, they have lots of chopped up celery, onions, green bell pepper, and the conch meat. It sure makes a nice mix, the best vendor ever!

There is just no place like Key West for fun times. It is just so vastly different than any place else in Florida - so laid back, but wild and crazy too. So many couples make this their place for weddings, it is perfect for that.
