It is a lovely place to have dinner and one of the nicer places to go out in the Middle Keys. You get to be seated with a wine list and all the fancy cocktails made with real fruit smoothie style. I really enjoyed the Grilled Yellow-Fin Tuna Plate, as seafood is always the way to go in a commercial fishing town. One cannot go wrong with the Camelot Chardonnay, which is pleasant with lobster, fish and shrimp.
The Plaza Grill has a really good motto, as it is a restaurant you'll want to come home to every night. You certainly want to spread around and hit all the waterfront seafood bars, but do have one big dinner here for a special occasion. The wine list is huge and one of the secrets in town for fine dining.
Such a good restaurant for us that love a good bottle of wine with dinner. We picked out the Fine Ruby Porto Wine, imported from Portugal to go with a variety of seafood and steak dishes. The bar area is really gorgeous, and a step up from most of the restaurants in the Florida Keys.
