What a very special thing to do. Use your paddle to find the marine life, go fishing, or just do a bit of sightseeing. The backcountry is our top pick for where to go, but even in the canals or off the beach is excellent in the Florida Keys. If you did not bring your own, a Kayak Rental is the way to go.
Pick between all of the various watersports options, as you get lots of choices. Do something different each day. Low wind days are the best for getting on the water and enjoying the water clarity. The people working here are very professional.
It sure is nice having lots of choices of good things to do. I was amazed how beautiful it is in this whole entire zone. I would also check out the Islamorada Bicycle Cruiser Rental Shop as they have great deals for your bike riding.
There's just something special about the boat trips on the Atlantic Ocean that keeps me coming back for more. Do not far from the Islander upper keys" class="comment-more6">Oceanside Islander Upper Keys which is another place we have stayed at and the Sunset Inn is just across the street.
Boats are awesome down here and are really good to rent. If you have the time, be sure to go on a kayak too. Each is different. In the boat we do tend to go slow to see underneath.
You can rent a wave runner boat here and take an adventure tour that is as good as it gets. We like the bars behind the Postcard Inn, the reef Snorkeling, and the sandbar parties. Over by Robbie's there are mangrove tunnels and kayak rentals.
They will bring the kayaks to you at your resort. Just call and set it up. You keep the kayak for the entire vacation trip. The multiday rental means lots of exploring each day.
