This is our Marathon Sweet Shop, as the cakes, pastries, and cookies go nicely with the coffee. It is my pick for Filling up the Coffee Cup. Turn oceanside at 53, the entrance to Village of Key Colony Beach. About 30 seconds down on the left after all the boats. We call it the Oceanside Marathon Coffee Shop.
Our pick for breakfast and they only have yummy! Marathon Florida Keys is loaded with so many fun restaurants and bars making each evening special. This spot is on Key Colony Beach, by Vaca Cut. Get a Patio Breakfast at Key Colony Beach.
They have moved up in the world by moving to the location on Key Colony Beach. The retires in the area walk every morning to places like this (coffee shops, breakfast cafes, waterfront restaurants) as the destination of the day. The Key Colony Beach community is all about walking.
Cool area for a Coffee Shop. They could be quicker and have a bunch of goofy plants that do not let you enter from the north entrance. So, you can't walk right over from Sparky's. Tour the boats in the back.
In the Marathon Area, right on Key Colony Beach. Way too dark inside, so Sit Outside if the weather is good. This is a cool spot for those that are staying near the restaurant, which is nice to walk over too. Acclaimed for its diverse attractions, Marathon is loaded with the best restaurants. Too much clutter outside, but Good Food.
It is surrounded by plants on the north-side of the building, which is really weird. The city is primetime island fun and has pristine natural settings to explore. We recommend Leigh Anns, with a nice mix of food and equally warm hospitality.
A lot happens in this cute island, like big breakfasts, fishing for keepers, and the Boat Parade! Yes, it just happened we rented a condo down the street and got to absorb the the beautiful festivities. It starts over by the 7th Street canal and cruises all around (everyone is drinking) and goes down various canals and right by the Sadowski Causeway. A prime event, so next year it is Fantasy Fest!
We loved breakfast here, plus you can play golf and tennis in Key Colony Beach. That is rare in the Keys. A nice spot for sure. The island city offers a variety of other recreational facilities and is right there with Hawks Cay, up the road. They have basketball, bocci ball, horseshoes, and all oceanside. Say yes to the Sadowski Causeway Java Cafe.
On the new Florida Keys website, we love it. Do you also own and produce flkeysmagazine. Having a short url is really go and easy to type in. Yeah to flkeystoday!
Voted Best Coffee by many locals in Key Colony Beach, see it on the left when you drive in. Try the fresh home-baked sweet stuff made fresh every day. Leigh Ann's is part of the cool little island off Marathon Florida Keys. The restaurant is part of a great food group on on Sadowski Causeway. Dining at the Coffee Grill is a winner.
The Oreo Cheesecake is a huge winner. I love this kind of place, with sweets and coffee. The oreo cookie crumbles whipped into cheesecake and set atop an oreo cookie crust. All of that and you can pick the ice cream.
