We stopped in today and look how pretty the building is in the photo I took. It is a classic place, which has been remodeled over the years and is now classically perfect. I am a big fan of the prices and love the food. Order to go and you can take it one block to the 7-Mile Bridge Picnic Area.
What a great little roadside restaurant that is halfway down towards Key West. It just might be the perfect pit stop for food, with quick service patio style. You want to pretty much Eat Outside in the Florida Keys every chance you get.
It is a nice area because of the waterfront spots and the close proximity to the Public Bridge Walkway Park. The park goes all the way to Pigeon Key, so do that after you get your fish sandwich and french fries.
Tomorrow is slow cooking pork day, and I hope it turns out as good as the pork steaks on the grill from the Seven Mile Grill. Catman circus kitty will love a little bit of pork. We can make pork sandwiches with french fries included inside the sandwich, just an idea.
The macaroni and cheese we can cook there. I would just like to add some veggies to the macaroni, and you might have some ideas from all those great cooking shows. It would seem like scallions or yellow onions, green pepper, and some small amount of jalapenos chopped with the super chopper might be a new approach to macaroni and cheese. We could look up a recipe online before we go to the Big Pine Key Flea Market.
