Use this waterway system to travel from the ocean to the gulf. It is located at mile marker 91, in the Upper Florida Keys. Key Largo has three primary waterway cuts, this being on the southern side. Going back north the next boating channel is up 13 miles (Adams Cut). Heading south is Snake Creek at MM86.
The tide seems to really be pushing out to the ocean in your video. I wonder are the tides always so strong here. Just might better bring some extra rope and an extra anchor in case my engine dies!
Just to the upper bayside is Tavernier Town Shopping Center, a place that has the shopping groceries for the condo or hotel. Near Mariners Hospital and the local Post Office here for zip code 33070.
Ok, great! I would like to go to breakfast (Made to Order Cafe) at that place in Tavernier that you showed me. It is on The Other Side of the Overseas Highway. I saw a piece on TV about their Meat Lovers Omelet (A mixture of sausage, bacon & ham, wrapped with cheese) and that is high on my Key Largo Breakfast to do list.
